About

Sean Tran is a sound designer and music composer who has a passion for creating soundscapes that enhance, evoke, and elevate emotion and storytelling.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Sean’s fascination with sound began early—imitating bizarre sound effects and iconic voice lines from video games, movies, and TV shows. Although he was attending University for a Bachelor’s in Business, his creative passion for sound and music never ceased.

Seeking to turn that passion into a career, Sean graduated from Vancouver Film School’s Sound Design for Visual Media program, where he honed his skills in working with audio in various formats, developing a deeper understanding of how sound and music can transform and support a story.

Now, Sean continues to refine his craft, constantly pursuing new ways to push the boundaries of sonic storytelling. He is drawn to projects that inspire and connect with audiences on an emotional level, bringing stories to life through sound.
